Hosted inside Planterra’s greenhouses, the hands-on and interactive presentation format is designed to maximize your learning experience. Workshop participants will spend an hour at each living wall workstation learning about that system’s features, installation tips, how the irrigation system works, fertilization, how to troubleshoot the system, common post-installation concerns and design considerations when using each type of living wall system. Seating is theater style and workshop participants will rotate through the demonstration sites as a group, bringing their chairs with them.

10:50 – 11:50  Urban Grey to Living Green with Sage Botanic Media. System highlights - bio-tiles and  rockwool

11:50 – 12:30 PM  Shuttle and walk to Henry Ford Hospital

12:30 – 1:30   Dine on Main Street: 

Henry Ford Hospital offers a unique and healthy dining experience at Henry's.  Choose from a variety of food stations featuring a vast array of menu items prepared fresh every day by our hospital's talented chefs. Caribou Coffee is also located on Main Street, and the Great Lakes Tea  & Spice Kiosk is located in the Ravitz Foundation Main Atrium.

1:30 – 2:30 Tour of the famous Henry Ford Hospital atrium, horticultural therapy area, (and greenhouses if construction schedule allows)

2:30 – 3:00  Shuttles & walk back to Planterra

3:00 – 3:45  “How to Price a Living Wall System” by Howard Frelich, President, Blondie's Treehouse, Inc.

Workshop 4

4:55 – 4:55  ASI’s Simply Vertical Wall Solutions and You. System highlights - wick-based irrigation technology

5:00 – 7:00  Reception with refreshments and heavy snacks, table top presentations

Tabletop Presentation: Tournesol Siteworks, by Brian Mitalo, Midwest Regional Sales Rep.

7:00 – 7:30  Shuttle back to hotel.

Tuesday - Attendees depart.
